A Good Day

A good day is when you ride home down Headington Hill in the poring rained, its dark, it’s hard to see and the traffic is too crazy to weave in and out of, yet you get home and still cannot help but tell every housemate who will listen how great your day has been as you stand there soaked and dripping wet.

Because He is so flipping good.

It’s a Wednesday – which is my least favourite day. But He changes my mind on that very quickly.

1. We had the most women and children we’ve ever had at toddler group. The majority are not originally from England, which means Church can be a community for them.

2. Toddler clear up was quicker than usual.

3. We prepared angles ready for the big angel drop that will bless our community when they wake up to 600 crafted and knitted angels across the area.

4. I met with two young girls from Church and we got to chat about all things a Christian girl talks about.

5. I went to the doctors and there was an answer to prayer there too.

6. A house mate came and sat on my bedroom chair randomly and we laughed together.

7. I had dinner with a close friend.

8. At the monthly prayer night He broke my heart for Oxford.

And then Thursday was even better.
